A client located in Lubbock, Texas contacted Madden Bolt Corporation requesting that we manufacture a series of embed steel plates to be used in a power distribution center. Upholding a (+/-) 1/8 inch precision tolerance, we were able to use a combination of our advanced services, which ranged from plasma and oxy cutting to grinding and quality control inspection, to construct these high quality plates.
Each embed steel plate was made from ASTM A36 carbon steel and possessed a material thickness of .75 inches, a length of one foot four inches, and a width of precisely one foot. And, each part weighed forty five pounds. Employing our plasma and oxy cutting technology to form each piece, we then grinded the plates to create a smoother metal finish and more precise shape, and used our hot dip galvanizing technology to provide a thick, corrosion resistant coating steel. We also placed our products through a series of quality control inspections to ensure their performance quality before any packaging or delivery took place.
Using our advanced packaging system, which includes palletizing, shrink wrapping, tagging, and banding, we were able to safely transport and deliver the embed plates to our Texas based client within a five to seven day lead time. Employing a combination of our advanced machining and quality control inspection services, we were able to quickly produce a series of embed plates that met ASTM industry standards and high client expectations. |
